What is a cultural showcase?
A cultural showcase is a stage where performers from different cultures, groups or countries come together to share their talents. It can also be centered around a particular theme, like poetry or pop culture. Each showcase gets its own dedicated time on stage for these remarkable performances.
Meet our cultural showcase coordinators
Behind the scenes, our cultural showcases are organised by dedicated community members who serve as showcase coordinators. They work tirelessly to
- manage and schedule performers
- consult with performers on their acts
- ensure festival volunteers and MCs are well-informed about performances
- coordinate the showcase with the festival team
