Register to be a stage assistant volunteer
Stage assistants support stage managers to keep the festival program running on time and smoothly.
We are looking for enthusiastic and helpful people who have good attention to detail.
Accessibility
This is an outdoor volunteer role stationed at a stage, so you’ll need to navigate the stage set up.
All stages will have one set of stairs and one ramp to access the stage floor. You will have a chair available at times.
It will require you to interact with people. It will be busy and loud.
Duties
- Set up and pack down stages, including
- positioning performer chairs or music stands
- collecting cups or bottles
- sweeping leaves from the stage or ramp
- Tidy change rooms and check for lost property
- Assist performers by bringing water, and helping with their costumes and stage decoration when needed
- Support the stage manager and precinct manager as needed
