Parade

Planning is well underway for a COVID safe National Multicultural Festival to be held in 2021.

Watch this space for further updates.

Saturday | 4pm
Akuna & Bunda Sts, along Akuna St, London Circuit and concludes at East Row & Alinga St.

The National Multicultural Festival Parade has everything from beautiful dancers and marching bands, to magnificent floats.

Each year thousands flock to the streets of Canberra on Saturday of the festival to witness a sea of performers from local and international groups. These performers envelope the streets with spectacular colour and sound.

Participation in the parade has grown, with the 2020 Parade expecting over 2,000 performers participating in the event including a diverse group of cultural performers representing Canberra’s diverse community.

Come and be part of the 2020 National Multicultural Festival Parade and be dazzled by beautiful costumes and an ensemble of musicians that will march in the Parade.
