The Parade

Proudly sponsored by the Australian National University

Each year participation in the parade continues to grow, with the 2019 parade seeing over 2000 performers from a range of cultural groups, displaying Canberra’s inclusive and diverse community. 2019 also saw the proud sponsorship of the Australian National University.

The Parade started at 4:00pm on Saturday 16th February on the corner of Bunda and Akuna Street (near Glebe Park). The Parade then continued along London Circuit, ending at Stage 1 in Garema Place with a closing ceremony finishing by 6:00pm.
