The Parade

The National Multicultural Festival Parade has everything from beautiful dancers and marching bands, to magnificent floats.

Each year thousands flock to the streets of Canberra on Saturday of the festival to witness a sea of performers from local and international groups. These performers envelope the streets with spectacular colour and sound.

Participation in the parade has grown, with the 2020 Parade expecting over 2,000 performers partaking in the event including a diverse group of cultural performers representing Canberra’s diverse community. Come and be part of the 2020 National Multicultural Festival Parade and don’t forget to come along to be dazzled by beautiful costumes and an ensemble of musicians that will march in the Parade.
