The Parade

The Parade

The Multicultural Festival Parade has everything from beautiful dancers and marching bands, to magnificent floats.

Each year thousands flock to the streets of Canberra on Saturday of the festival to witness a sea of performers from local and international groups. These performers envelope the streets with spectacular color and sound.

Participation in the parade has grown, with this year’s parade expecting over 2000 performers partaking in the event including a diverse group of cultural performers. Bringing a multitude of cultures to the event and displaying Canberra’s diverse community. Come and be part of this year’s festival and don’t forget to come along to be dazzled by beautiful costumes and an ensemble of musicians that will march in the parade.

The parade will start at corners of Bunda and Akuna Street near Glebe Park at 4pm and progress along London Circuit ending up at East Row at 6pm.
