Festival workshops offer an exciting opportunity for community groups, artists and performers to actively engage with attendees and share their vibrant cultures.

These workshops encompass a wide array of topics, from arts and crafts to music, dance, language, costumes, customs and engaging games.

Applications to perform at the 2025 National Multicultural Festival closed on Monday 12 August 2024. We are unable to accept any further applications as the team is busy assessing the completed applications. Please join the waitlist if you would like to be contacted if any timeslots/space becomes available for the 2025 festival.

Types of workshops

  • Volunteer presenters: Share your skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm while having a fantastic time! Our volunteer presenters bring their passion to life and create engaging workshop experiences.
  • Community grant presenters: Empower your community through your cultural insights. Community grant presenters have the opportunity to enrich the festival with their expertise, and they may have received grant funding to support their participation.
  • Professional presenters: For those with a professional career in the arts, the festival opens its doors to showcase your talents. Professional presenters provide valuable experiences and, if selected, are compensated accordingly.
