The National Multicultural Festival relies on hundreds of volunteers to make our nationally famous festival and events, the success that they are year after year. Volunteering is all about making a difference. The National Multicultural Festival is committed to involving volunteers across its operations from events to entertainment support. When you volunteer with The National Multicultural Festival, you’ll be making not only a difference for the festival but also the wider multicultural community for which we serve.
Event Day Positions available include stage managers, stage manager’s assistants, announcers, event set up personnel, information officers, runners and basic administrative tasks.
You will receive a free t-shirt, hat, identification lanyard and food vouchers for your efforts.
An information and training session will be held on 31 January 2012. The session provides an opportunity for volunteers to understand what the festival is all about, the specific requirements of each position and opportunity to answer any questions you might have.
