Taiwan Sublime Photo Exhibition – Four Photography Masters’ Visions of the Treasure Island

The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Australia will be presenting the ‘Taiwan Sublime photo Exhibition’ from 03 -25 February during the 2012 National Multicultural Festival.
The ‘Taiwan Sublime’ Photo Exhibition features various images captured by four Taiwanese photographers who for many years have crisscrossed Taiwan with the aim of creating a record of its natural and human wonders.
Chen Chih-hsiung’s photos illustrate the subtle contrast of light and dark hues which are typical in twilight scenery. Chi Po-lin, on the other hand, is known for his aerial photography and various images of Taiwan’s changing landscape. Viewers who would like a taste of local Taiwanese culture will find Liu Chen-hsiang’s images of dance troupes and Huang Ting-sheng’s snapshots of religious festivals a visual treat. Their photos encapsulate Taiwan’s landscapes, diverse cultural scenes, and different religious aspects.
